I do these comparisons every day around now and they are week to week to week to week on the same day - so 3 Tuesdays ago v 2 Tuesdays ago v last Tuesday v today.

Tomorrow the week to week to week to week will be for the Wednesdays. And so on.
 
People with suspected coronavirus in Naples, Italy, have been given oxygen in their cars after a nearby hospital became overwhelmed with patients.

A queue of cars and ambulances formed outside Cotugno Hospital, which appeared unable to cope with the influx of new COVID-19 cases.

Medical workers in the country's third largest city checked up on people waiting in line in their vehicles and provided oxygen tanks to those with breathing difficulties. Read more here.

Looking at this site, Mondays and Tuesdays do seem to bring a higher % of cases positive than the rest of the week. Hopefully this is reflected tomorrow and that number will be down again.

Reasons to be cautiously optimistic.
