COVID-19 — Coronavirus

Based on many other accounts I have read, this is a fairly good representation of the experience of many people attempting to do the ‘right’ things in the US and UK right now.

The thing is the staff are confused as well one said to the wife yesterday
after looking after a suspected patient do I throw my pen away, nobody’s had a meeting with the staff to discuss anything apart from wear a mask wash hands etc.

To be fair information is not great.

I've had patients ringing me to see if they should still come in for their procedures and I'm like, I haven't heard anything to the contrary!

Yours looks very similar to China around day 23, maybe its reaching the peak now, our news said tonight that the first town it was detected in had no new cases today for the first time. I can't remember the towns name unfortunately.
If you mean the first town in Italy, it's Codogno. Yeah they've been strictly quarantined from the beginning and it's getting better there. It's also a town of 15000 people, so easier to control than bigger ones, but they've done well.

I’ve never understood the Eyam story.
Was there only one road north?
Was there no other way to get to Sheffield?
Why did their actions stop the plague spreading north?
Did all trade go through, or rather stop, at Eyam?

Hold your nose and blow hard. Then, tell me again.

In fact, read everything you wrote above, go away, do some reading, then tell us all what you find out!

I’m telling you what SCIENTISTS are saying. The thing is, if you have a cut on your leg, and you are in close contact with someone contagious, do you think you are getting COVID-19 through your leg???

Why do some people have the virus, but not die? Why does it make some people’s lungs like Swiss cheese and others not?

Tell you what, go argue with someone else. Have neither the time nor inclination.

I was thinking exactly the same as you when I read his post.

HIV is very hard to transmit. The only way anyone would get it through their big toe is if HIV was injected intravenously straight into it (and that is only if the virus was still alive in the syringe, as the virus is fragile and does not cope very well outside the body).
