My neighbour went to boots this morning to get me some paracetamol,the shelves were empty,no branded or generic ones

I saw a guy in Lloyd’s pharmacy asking if they had any rat poison, the lady said no try boots he said boots I want to kill them not kick em to death

I’ve never understood the Eyam story.
Was there only one road north?
Was there no other way to get to Sheffield?
Why did their actions stop the plague spreading north?
Did all trade go through, or rather stop, at Eyam?

I was at Uni with a lad from Stoney Middleton and he reckoned the true story was that the people in the neighbouring villages threw rocks at them from Eyam when they tried to leave.
