I know that
I was not getting at you or blaming you in any way, Kaz.

But your post said it was the number of UK deaths in hospital and was official.

So I was just clarifying why it isn't. Nothing more.

I imagine it was what the media reported.

Just a reminder of the warning that cases might well be up today.

The pillar 2 testing issue I mentioned yesterday clearly impacted N Ireland and made their data low and was added on today. The number of pillar 2 tests for the UK was the lowest since early September so if these have now turmed up and are added today numbers may be up.

We will see. Hopefully not.

Looking at the pillar 2 disparity it clearly had a bigger impact on N Ireland as its tests were only one tenth of recent days.

Hence the significant rise today in numbers after those got added on from yesterday.

England was under half the test numbers - though - so with larger case numbers there might be a thousand or two cases that went missing yesterday IF it had the same problem as N Ireland did. We don't know that it did.

Wales and Scotland had some pillar 2 drop off too but not quite as bad and their cases were not up dramatically today.

Numbers delayed tonight. So maybe there is that issue being sorted out.

With the early kick off may be later than usual data posts tonight.

Hopefully a summary at half time if not pre KO.

Err.... how about....
