in terms of vaccination, can't we just do a similar thing as for election day? even use the polling stations? one big day, 6am to 11pm, nearly all staff on duty, few nurses to administer and volunteers to help. or is this just far to fanciful? should get through 50% of the population

i am certain im completely over simplifying this but if (if) the vaccine is fridge storage only, then cant it just be administered anywhere, like they do with flu jabs when they go to schools etc etc. Just hyper-localised mass vaccination, very similar to election day. Dunno. i'll have missed something massive no doubt.

well, firstly i said like polling stations and didn't mention school at all
secondly, i alluded to mobile/local vaccinations simialr to how flu is given in schools
thirdly, roughly 2000 schools were used in the 2017 Gen Election

anyway, i was just musing over the point of far and wide and very local vaccination schemes, only pondering.

Can we not just do it ourselves?

Loads of people inject themselves with legal drugs at home.

Funny enough I asked about this as I have to inject a trial drug once a week using pen type thing, its a piece of piss and doesnt hurt at all. It would seem that it cant be done with the vaccine for several reasons at this stage including transport storage and that you have to be observed for 15mins afterwards.

Should it become apparent this will have to be repeated annually then the logistics of injecting so many millions it may well be an option to inject yourself in the future.
