It’s best that the hospitals are prepared and then if we don’t see a 3rd surge, all the better.Scaremongering twats
A friend was Head of A&E at Stepping Hill and they are busy throughout the year, not just in Winter.i guess the problem with 'stories' like this is that they only serve to scare people - of course they're prepared, every hospital has been on high alert since March, why wouldnt they be in the new year? also, theyre busy every single winter. this isnt having a go at you, but this is such a non-story that only gets people's anxieties up. If they are insistent on posting non-stories, maybe a slightly different tack such as "hospitals wont let complacency in and will continue their hard work"
Stepping Hill has a specialist Prostate facility, my best mate (Blue as well) was diagnosed with the disease in Feb 2015 and as it had already spread to his pelvis the outlook wasn't good, fast forward to today and thankfully he's still with us. The hospital has been brilliant and got him through some real tough times, can't praise them enough.A friend was Head of A&E at Stepping Hill and they are busy throughout the year, not just in Winter.
Maybe the MUEN are reminding people to follow sage practices, at time when the the saviour of a vaccine is only weeks / months away. It’s very important that non Covid services are sustained.
