I agree with your point about listening to the guidance in full before making judgement about our satisfaction with the current level of response...

But this comment is doing what you are advocating against in other posts and which we mods have said needs to stay out of this thread: political point scoring.

Can we avoid these references moving forward, so you have a better chance of getting the non-political discussion you want?

Cheers.

I’m not starting it, it’s all the Labour voters losing their minds over something that’s totally sensible.

They’ve been doing it for a week now.

“If we start too early we’ll get it wrong”.

Can everyone read this please and stop going mental?

Italy were this casual and look what happened.

What they really mean is we are nit prepelared for this and need to drag it out until we are, if a few die off, well let's hipe not.

6 weeks minimun this virus has been a known danger, and we twiddled our thumbs until it hit us.

Thrre is no excuse for this.

Also the opposition have been fucking useless not heard a peep from labour, lib dems, SNP about this callign for any stiffer action.

Westminster as a whole is letting the country down.

I didn’t say you were, but you aren’t stopping it with that post either.

We’ll take care of the overt political posts and discussion as best we can — report posts if you think we’ve missed them.

There’s no need to make incendiary blanket political references, especially when you’re otherwise advocating not to make this a political point scoring contest.

We will be regardless, it’s better to delay it now and then impose the measures at the right time to help the infrastructure.

Putting a lock down now will mean in 4 weeks people will be disobeying and it’ll be too early to help the NHS.
The advice has really not really changed and the disease is motoring along at a scary pace, more decisive action needs to be taken rather than leave it to individuals to do the right thing
