i do a bit of delivering weekends,,i wont be doing it when it gets worse,why should i risk it and thousands of others will do the same so you may have trouble getting stuff
 
Whilst the portents of doom may be over the top (and perhaps I am guilty of that, admittedly I may be), then equally daft are the "I don't know what all the fuss is about", "flu kills more people than this" comments.

This is miles times worse than a normal flu outbreak and deserving of miles more caution and changes in behaviour.

well that diary of the guy who caught it was horrific 'if it was true' was that a mild case or severe i'd say mild because he got a taxi to the hospital who sent him home and eventually recovered 'if i read it correct'
 
Mrs Hef is off to Switzerland with her mate. Her mate works for a company in Wythenshawe who have told her not to come into the office for 2 weeks and work from home as they are worried she might catch it in Switzerland

If they are that worried, and I’m not saying they shouldn’t be, then they might as well send their entire work force home

Official advice is for any deliveries to be left on doorsteps and not to interact with the drivers.

If anything it will mean signing for things or cash payments will be done with.

yes paid upfront,,someone was saying this plastic money is playing a massive part in spreading the virus,the paper money was fine because it absorbed any droplets and then the virus died,but it will stay alive on plastic
 
We have approximately 800 people coming through our doors every day at work, but there's no way we will be shutting or working from home even if one of us get it. It's just not viable.

i think its a personal choice here unless of course you are ill then you have no choice about going into work, ive discussed it with my Mrs and we have come to the agreement that when/if it gets bad and people are dropping like flies she will not go to work and and we will simply stay in until it gets better be it 3 months or 6 months
 
Went on holiday January 17th from China to Nepal. Somehow ended up in Thailand on my first trip there. I wanted to talk to Frank but he's in exile somewhere else, I hear. Did meet a few TS-era (Thanksin Shinny, not the other TS, not that there are any problems with that either) Blues in the last few weeks. Spencer Prior apparently liked my retweet of his tweet. It's been a funny few weeks. Two blog posts for it all. Hoping it is less serious than the BBC and less gloom than the rolling Guardian blog.

I’m in exile. Kind of. Well, enforced exile. Sort of. I found myself in Kathmandu with a flight to Hong Kong, knowing that I could have arrived with few options to cross into the mainland of China.

I was saying similar here but to send them all to Dundalk and set up a huge minefield around the town.
