Beats sowing mail bags or making registration plates, I suppose.....
I said 10m catching it mate.I'd be delighted if somehow only 1m of the 66.4m UK pop catch this. Entirely manageable while admittedly scary and sad if it leads to 50-100k deaths. It does however preclude the societal breakdown we need to ensure the PL trophy remains at the etihad :-(
Your'e just plain wrong on this one.I dissagree, oh and thanks for the insult
What’s up with you ****?
Perhaps not society completely, but if only 1 million people contract the virus, and the estimated severe case rate holds at 20%, as we continue to take very little action to stretch the occurrence of the condition out over more time, that is still enough to overwhelm our current healthcare capacity and cause all sorts of problems, including a rise in mortality rates for COVID-19 and many other life-threatening conditions (as a bottleneck on resources has a substantial knock on effect, especially given our system is already being strained by the annual increased treatment volume from cold and flu season). That’s of course not even factoring in the number of people seeking treatment even though they are not infected with the novel coronavirus, which would further clog the system.I'd be delighted if somehow only 1m of the 66.4m UK pop catch this. Sorry to be the harbinger of doom once again but I would say there is absolutely zero chance of only 1m infections. The government is talking about 6m people being off sick at once, let alone in total.Perhaps not society completely, but if only 1 million people contract the virus, and the estimated severe case rate holds at 20%, as we continue to take very little action to stretch the occurrence of the condition out over more time, that is still enough to overwhelm our current healthcare capacity and cause all sorts of problems, including a rise in mortality rates for COVID-19 and many other life-threatening conditions (as a bottleneck on resources has a substantial knock on effect, especially given our system is already being strained by the annual increased treatment volume from cold and flu season). Let’s hope not even that many become infected. Though, I am not overly optimistic.
I agree with you, mate — that’s why I said I am not overly optimistic.Sorry to be the harbinger of doom once again but I would say there is absolutely zero chance of only 1m infections. The government is talking about 6m people being off sick at once, let alone in total.
He’s so ungrateful. He clearly struggles with technology, I point him in the right direction and he calls me a ****; but far, far worse he’s already forgotten how to reply to posts. You are such a grump.
