Nothing wrong with injecting disinfectant. After a night on a the bleach a quick hit of disinfectant in the veins makes me feel so relaxed .

he was only having a laugh apparently....We are all quite fortunate to be living in a unique time during our planets history to witness firsthand Darwin’s theory debunked in front of our very eyes. I feel privileged.

President Donald Trump has said that his comments suggesting disinfectants could help treat coronavirus were "sarcastic".

During a signing for a new coronavirus aid bill on Friday, Trump said that he "was asking a question sarcastically to reporters like you just to see what would happen".

Trump then said that disinfectants on the hands "could have a very good effect".

Asked if he was encouraging their use, the president replied "of course not".

It's a pandemic ! Neighbours is still on
On a serious note, the real danger here is that people just get so incredibly bored of this, they give up and say "fuck it".

I don't think the relentless, incessant and water-torture-painful coverage, minute by minute, hour by hour, day by day, is doing anything at all to lessen that risk. In fact quite the opposite.

They should tone it down and *PERIODICALLY* remind us with short, sharp, shocking messaging.

As it is, we are all becoming numb to it. And this is NOT helping.

BTW, who are we clapping for this evening? I lose track.

If we want to do a multivariate analysis I would look closely at the prevalence of co-morbidities especially obesity and diabetes as well as the factors you mention.
Where did you nick that quote from? Multivariate analysis and co-morbidities my arse ;-)

What algorithms do you think would work best? ARIMAX or MLR perhaps?

Per The Hill

“BREAKING: The Food and Drug Administration said that two anti-malaria medications highly touted by President Trump as potential coronavirus treatments should not be taken outside a hospital or clinical trial because of the risk of severe heart problems.

The rare warning comes after the FDA received numerous reports about serious cardiac events and death in patients with COVID-19 receiving hydroxychloroquine and chloroquine, either alone or combined with an antibiotic.”
Daft Donald has nearly had as bad a week as when he went bankrupt!

And as long as neighbours is still on more and more people will leave their homes.

I’ve turned it all off.

I almost exclusively watch cooking programmes and listen to music.

I have every weekend off here too.

You realise that don’t have to engross yourself in it and that life can be lived torture free (as long as you and your family stay well!)

I know what you mean, from a medical point of view i find it very interesting though, isolating is not new to me so i don't have to take any notice of that side of things,i guess they figure that more people respond to be told everyday than get fed up with it,people going out has gone up a bit this last week,it was always going to happen with the nice weather,i don't know how they will deal with it

A bunch of medical experts looked at all the treatments for the different stages of Covid from all around the world from all the medical papers and based on their assessment of case outcomes decided to include the use of either hydroxychloroquine or chloquine as a standard treatment.
Sorry that is bollocks, several countries have stop trials,it is dangerous to patients with heart conditions and more deaths in those on it than not on it and it is not an effective treatment, see the FDA tweet on it today, what are you on today?,i watch american news half the night so i know what is going on

Don't blame you, there is plenty of other stuff to watch and constantly listening to the same thing will drive us all mad. Which I am confident has happened to several on here already. The local news at 6 is my only daily corona update because hearing the sad stories about our brave frontline workers falling by the wayside is very upsetting

Absolutely no doubt people are now staring to venture further afield.

The road I live on is noticeably busier, and I went shopping today for the first time in 8 days and there felt like a significant more amount of people. 1 hour to get in.

Honestly, I think if this continues after may 7th or whatever the date is then people are going to start breaking this. I am certain of it.

I’ve said it a thousand times before and I’ll say it again. It’s the weather. My house is in view of a block of flats nearby. I know a few people who have said in the past that it was too hot in there when we hit 20 degrees. A lot of people who are out and about frequently are cooped up in flats.

We just need it to piss it down and the streets will be empty.
