Covid and travel discussion

I will continue to speak my mind and make decisions on my own life,so chill it mr angry !

Not angry at all but you venting about how your life is going to impacted because for non medical reasons you are not prepared to get vaccinated especially when you say it wasn’t a trip for a holiday as such strikes me as very odd behaviour.

Bloke at work won’t have the vaccine, keeps quoting civil rights . I asked him what will you do about holidaying abroad ect ? Smug twat said , I’ve downloaded a fake vaccine passport. It’s shows I’ve had 2 jabs ..

Devils advocate only and before we demonize those of us non vaccinated, should we not ask if the double vaccinated can still transmit the disease to others. If the double vaccinated can still transmit, even in a weakened format then why are double vaccinated people still happily traveling thereby putting foreign families at risk of illness or death. A fair question and certainly one that I would like to know the answer to ?

If anyone of a scientific background from the Covid thread could interject then it would be most helpful going forward.

It’s a fair question but I am sure that being double jabbed lowers the transmissible load, my main beef with the poster was his absolute rant about costs, Europeans and conspiracies about people making fortunes when in reality I have traveled a few times and found it all pretty straightforward apart from the fit to fly test for returning which obviously puts a stress on your last two days.

It might lower the transmissible load but it but it also may not negate it? Interesting to see if any of the Covid hierarchy crew that know their onions can elaborate further on this issue.

This is a brilliant thread and on a personal level our nos2 hobby so thanks to all the contributors for making it what it is. Not a single one of you that I wouldn't share a gill of ale with, but I do question whether we should be pointing fingers at the un-vaccinated if double vaccinated folk can still transmit the viral load.

I think his rant about costs are grounded as he will in real terms have had to pay more for being non vaccinated. Tui at the moment offer the best value at £20 for both tests. Take care mate.

It's not a fair question, it's actually quite a crass question.

Are you suggesting that double vaccinated people should stay home for the rest of their lives?
Millions of people in this country have done the decent thing and been fully vaccinated to help protect themselves and others; this lessens the transmission, the impact of Covid if you do catch it etc etc....all well documented in the main Covid thread.

The question should be why are people, who aren't medically exempt, refusing the vaccine.

Answers on a postcard.....

It lessons the transmission you clown..it does not negate it so you are the crass one! I never suggestged anything except as a devils advocate to a question whether double vaccinated can still transmit this dreadful disease.

The question on a postcard should be why are people traveling all over the world in pandemics if they are aware they can still transmit the viral load to foreign people. No need to be a clever arse lad as the question posed was completly relevant to thread. You finger pointed your angst toward another poster for not taking a vaccine while you personally travel the globe for pleasure regardless of the consequences. Wind your neck in for fear of being called a hypocrite.
