I'm trying to find numbers relating to positive tests of people returning to UK after a short holiday. Jabbed and good before they went abroad. Can't find anything out there online. Are the tests a con job?

You are a hypocrite by travelling the globe in double figures in pandemic knowing that double vacination does not fully reduce transmission and then having the audacity to point your finger at other board members for not being vaccinated ..yes or no?

Of the foreign trips I have taken since July 2020, only one (Porto in May) has been since the vaccines have been released.

I'm really not sure what point you are trying to make?
I can only assume you are unvaccinated by choice and will remain in this country until Covid isn't a thing anymore?

I am not the one calling people out.... Put your pointy Mc pointy finger back in your pocket, wind your neck in and crack on with your own life. I am looking at traveling in September but am not calling forum people out for non vaccinations . Who do you actually think you are .. the Covid police?

For your information we have both had both vaccinations even though we have lost a child through vaccination. It is of critical importance we are vaccinated but it is also important not to chastise posters on an internet forum for their own personal choices. My daughters however will not get vaccinated of their own volition after family circumstances dictate even though I continually implore them to do so.

What is your excuse for double figure euro travel in a pandemic and then having the audacity to go and question a lad that's not vaccinated..Like a said a class 1 hypocrite and hope moderation do not delete these posts

As I said to the unjabbed poster, if he's not vaccinated then that's fair enough.
Just as its fair enough for countries to impose tighter restrictions on those people who are refusing to get the jab.
Freedom of choice is great, but with all choices comes consequences. Seems churlish to moan about those consequences when exercising your freedom of choice.

I would hope no posts are deleted, despite you calling me a **** I still wouldn't want to see that or any post removed.

Our youngest tested positive within 24hrs of departure for greece. shes asymtomatic. Holiday cancelled, should have landed today but now we have to all isolate at home. Might change my name to Johnson at least we wont have to isolate then.

I can add to this that 25miles west in Wales you now dont have to isolate if you are double jabbed. But In johnson land you still do, im guessing the virus must be different as the rules dont change for another 8 days in England. Following the science my arse.

Do we think that the rule change from 16th regarding isolation removal will also apply to arrivals coming back from abroad?

I've not seen or read anything that confirms it either way.

As we saw from Porto and other trips people have taken, it's very easy to get the dreaded call or text from T&T due to someone from their flight testing positive on their ''day 2'' test.....will this now not be a thing going forward from 16/8 for the fully vaccinated?

i dont know mate, we paid for the predeparture test for my youngest, she came back positive so we have to self isolate at home for 10days even though we are double vaccinated. We never got to go abroad to find out. All I know is in Wales that rule ended today for double vaccinated people. They are just making it up as they go along as far as im concerned.
