We are going to Jersey next Saturday for a week, hotel B&B and flights £680 for the two of us, both double jabbed and up to yet all we have to do is a free PCR test when we arrive, no need to Quarantine until your results come through so fingers crossed nothing changes this week

Boris ?Going to France in 3 weeks, as rural a place as you'll find. Far safer than being in a city here. I'm just trying find the full test package required...pre-departure, 2 and 8 days plus 5 days release. Around £500 for the two of us. Or more. We can both do 5 days upon return. Both fully jabbed, really unhappy.
We can offset the tests costs by not going to Wales later in August. The France Somme trip is not something we want to miss, it's such an incredible place.
France may yet fire back and just ban travellers from the UK, who knows?

you now don’t need a pre departure test to get in France if double jabbed and day 2 and day 8 tests are about 60 quid each so although a mither not the £500 you are being quoted

Industries can be replaced. Lives can’t.
I agree wholeheartedly.
The Gov should support the sector though, like it has done other industries.
That's my beef at the lack of support, and not at the lack of outbound travel currently.
