Barely makes the city breaks worth it with these tests to return home verses the risk.
Alright as long as you can afford it. It’s those going to Tenerife on all inclusive they are looking to stop. The masses. Executives free to go to far flung destinations
I used to work for an Airline ..its surprising how many have tested positive on arrival who were negative 48 hrs before departure ,not many but there are a fewIt's becoming tiresome and I know people will quote the "We're in a pandemic what do you expect?" at me, but still We're almost two years; in now and at some point you have to try and live a life, while doing your best to comply. I've had two jabs and my booster and things were easing. I missed last Christmas away and thought I'd get this one okay. I've paid 390 Euro deposit on an apartment and paid for my flight. Now they're adding extra cost on, why can't we use the NHS free tests? Oh let's guess ........their rich mates are making a few thousand more selling them. I'm due to fly on Thursday and fuck it I'm still going. I just hope I get away before the "Don't do as I do, do as I say" fuckers throw more obstacles in the way. If I take a test before I fly home and it's negative and so is everyone on the plane, why have I got to do another one when I get home? It's families I feel sorry for, you're looking at a minimum cost of £100 per person and if their kids are over 12 they're probably fucked anyway as some popular countries won't let them in unless they're double jabbed
I was just about to book a trip somewhere sunny..then omicron hits. I'll look again in the new year. Dogshit,.. City being top lifting my spiritsMy trip to the states next week is looking less likely as the days go by. Fuck this shit, first holiday booked in two years and it goes tits up. I’m not going to bother booking another.

Where are you getting 3 tests from mate? The way I’m reading it is that it’s 1 test 48 hours or less before you fly home, and a PCR before the end of the 2nd day upon return
Currently in Lanzarote for a week, fly back Tuesday, with rule changes at home for when we get back changing just before we left after I'd ordered and collected what I needed & rule changes to actually get back coupled with Mrs Moon's vaccination's not being recognised with then being a trial one last year she's deemed as 'unclean' ....it's added on around £200 more to our week's holiday price on top of the hundred we were expecting.....and loads of form filling etc. It's becoming tiresome and I know people will quote the "We're in a pandemic what do you expect?" at me, but still We're almost two years; in now and at some point you have to try and live a life, while doing your best to comply.
