12,426 WEEKLY CASES FRIDAY & 36 CARE HOME OUTBREAKS:- THESE NUMBERS HAVE NOT BEEN UPDATED FOR SOME REASON SINCE FRIDAY

NOR HAVE THE HOSPITAL NUMBERS - 326 patients & 28 Ventilated

POSSIBLY WILL BE LATER. NO REASON GIVEN.

41 all settings deaths (England only up from 21 to 34)

51.459 cases - up 8876 on last Monday

England up 6619 on last Monday (34,906) to 41,525 today.

ENGLAND HOSPITAL SUMMARY

NORTH WEST DOING WELL VERSUS THE SOUTHERN REGIONS WHO HAD THE BIGGEST RISES IN PATIENTS IN LAST FEW DAYS

ENGLAND PATIENTS STILL DOWN WEEK TO WEEK BUT BY A LITTLE LESS THAN IT WAS LAST MONDAY AFTER A HEFTY RISE OF 204 YESTERDAY TO TODAY THAT SPOILED ANOTHERWISE BETTER WEEKEND THAN THE ONE BEFORE.

THIS RISE WAS MADE UP ALMOST ENTIRELY OF BIG RISES IN PATIENT NUMBERS TODAY IN THE SOUTH. LONDON ALONE UP 105 OF THAT 204 INCREASE TODAY.

ADMISSIONS (THURSDAY TO SATURDAY) (always 48 hour behind on admissions - the rest of data is all from today)

650 THU / 620 FRI / 609 SAT LAST WEEK V THIS WEEKEND (SAME DAYS) 717 THU / 624 FRI / 635 SAT

ALL UP WEEK TO WEEK - TWO WEEKS AGO THESE SAME THREE DAYS WERE 697 / 637 / 611

SO ADMISSIONS ARE NOW RISING AGAIN WHICH IS INEVITABLE AS CASES DO - THOUGH AS YET ONLY MODESTLY

Over the three days the regional admissions last week to this week were:-

London 290 V 340 (UP 50), Midlands 375 V 390 (UP 15), NE & Yorkshire 276 V 266 (DOWN 10) & North West 246 V 238 (DOWN 8)

North West and NE & Yorkshire actually fell by a small number and London and Midlands drove the rise.

PATIENTS FRI/ SAT / SUN / TODAY

5851 / 5784 / 5903 / 5992 Today - Risen by 141 since Friday

Last week's numbers were:

5992 / 5852 / 5890 / 6094 Risen by 102.

And week before

6310 / 6191 / 6322 / 6424 -
Risen by 114

You would have to call these numbers pretty flat over the past 3 weekends.

Two weeks ago on Monday the week to week fall was 6864 to 6424 so a fall of 440 week to week.

Last week the fall Monday to Monday was 6424 to 6094 - A FALL OF 330

So this week the Mnday to Monday fall of 6094 to 5992 is 102.

These are clearly falling very slowly and in effect the fall is stalling. It would be suroriasing not to see a small rise next week if the pattern stays as now.

Over weekend:-

REGIONALLY London UP 33 to 1102, Midlands DOWN 4 to 1154, NE & Yorks UP 7 to 954 & NW UP 12 to 796.

So Midlands the only faller now and only just.

Week to week London (UP 3), Midlands (DOWN 4), NE & Yorkshire (DOWN 105), East (DOWN 38), South East (UP 95) , South West (DOWN 15) and North West (DOWN 38) over the last 7 days.

SO WEEK TO WEEK YOERKSHIRE FALL THE MOST BUT NW AND EAST DOWN WELL TOO.

VENTILATORS OVER THE WEEKEND

This weekend (Fri - Mon) the numbers were:

783 - 775 - 770 - 793 - UP 10

Last weekend (Fri - Mon) the numbers were:

796 / 787 / 793 / 793 - DOWN 3

Two weekends ago the numbers were:-

769 / 764 / 776 / 785 - UP 16

So week to week today ventilators are EXACTLY the same. FLAT like most of these numbers.

The previous week to week was UP 8

REGIONALLY over the weekend London has 189 (UP 2), Midlands 157 (UP 3), NE & Yorkshire 112 (DOWN 8) & North West 105 (UP 7)

North West did not have a good weekend but NE & Yorkshire did

NORTH WEST THOUGH IS DOWN WEEK TO WEEK BY 1 FROM 106 TO 105.

UK HOSPITAL NUMBERS TODAY

NORTH WEST NUMBERS

4261 UP 369 on yesterday & UP 830 from last week's 3431

GREATER MANCHESTER NUMBERS

1669 - UP 101 when the NW is UP by 369 - so a good result for GM on the day under usual numbers as a split of NW.

Week to week GM is UP 437 from 1232 - Over 50% of the 830 NW rise which is above par (the GM split has been around 38/39% lately). So not a great day in this more important measure.

Most boroughs up week to week. Many by quite a lot. In fact only Wigan fell on the week by just 5 and was still second highest scorer behind Manchester.

ENGLAND REGIONAL CASES TODAY

NB:- ALL THE REGIONS APART FROM LONDON & SOUTH EAST AND NORTH EAST ARE NOW VERY CLOSE TOGETHER NOT SPREAD OUT AS WERE

ALSO IN THE PAST 48 HOURS BOTH LONDON AND SOUTH EAST SURPASSED AT THE SAME TIME THE TOTAL CASE NUMBERS ACROSS THE ENTIRE PANDEMIC REPORTED IN THE NORTH WEST PUSHING NW BACK TO THIRD AFTER BEING TOP FOR 20 MONTHS.

NUMBERS:- SOUTH EAST 1,335,009 LONDON 1,332,069 & NORTH WEST 1,331,093

NO OTHER REGION HAS TOPPED ONE MILLION CASES THOUGH WEST MIDLANDS WILL DO SO IN THE NEXT WEEK OR SO. AND YORKSHIRE BY CHRISTMAS.

Bluehammer - Here are the latest Kent numbers as I promised:

Dartord

99 cases (DOWN 11) - Total 19,905 - Daily Pop Score 87 - Pop Score 17,453 - Weekly Pop 515 (UP 29)

Medway

252 cases (UP 43) - Total 46,504 - Daily Pop Score 101 - Pop Score 16,670 - Weekly Pop 612 (UP 31)

Sadly these are going up a lot now and Medway had a three figure Pop rise today and is significantly worse than all of GM with its weekly Pop score rsing into the 600s now.

LATEST NORTHERN IRELAND GRAPH SHOWING VISUALLY VERY WELL HOW THE CASES OVER 65 IN THE !2K OR SO PAST SEVEN DAY TOTAL ARE WAY BELOW WHERE THEY WERE PERCENTAGE WISE AND WHY - MUCH YOUNGER PEOPKE ARE BY FARTHE MAJORITY NOW - WHY CASES ARE NOT TRANSLATING INTO HOSPITALISATION AND DEATH AS WAS.

ANOTHER TAKE ON THIS FROM THE N I DATA TODAY - SHOWING RAW NUMBER IN PASTWEEK MAKING IT EVEN MORE OBVIOUS WHERE CASES ARE FOCUSING AND WHY THEY ARE NOT ENDING UP AS SERIOUS WHEN THE RIGHT HAND NUMBERS WERE MUCH HIGHER. THESE WERE DOUBLE WHAT THEY ARE NOW ON THE RIGHT JUST A FEW WEEKS AGO.

ENGLAND HOSPITAL SUMMARY

ADMISSIONS SUNDAY) (always 48 hour behind on admissions - the rest of data is all from today)

728 V 607 LAST WEEK & TWO WEEKS AGO THE NUMBER WAS 648

SO ADMISSIONS AREWELL UP ON SUNDAY ON BOTH PAST WEEKS - NO WONDER PATIENTS ROSE AS THEY DID - ONE OF THE WORST DAYS IN PAST FEW WEEKS

Regional admissions Today V Last Week were:-

London 120 V 106 (UP 14), Midlands 133 V 121 (UP 16), NE & Yorkshire 97 V 89 (UP 8) & North West 83 V 72 (UP 11)

All up but NW still the lowest nmber.

PATIENTS YESTERDAY / TODAY

5992 / 6027 Today - UP by 35 on day.

Last week's numbers were:

6094 / 6123 - UP by 29

Week before the numbers were:

6424/ 6257 - DOWN by 167

So the numbers are pretty flat here but the general trend is upward not downward

Two weeks ago the weekly fall day to day was 6623 to 6257 - A FALL OF 366

Last week the same day to day fall is 6257 to 6123 - A FALL OF 134

Today the fall is 6123 / 6027 - still down but a fall of just 96

THE TRACK IS CLEARLY DOWNWARD WEEK TO WEEK BUT NEXT WEEK MAY NOT BE AT THIS RATE

REGIONALLY DAY TO DAY:-

London UP 32 to 1134, Midlands DOWN 29 to 1167, NE & Yorks DOWN 17 to 937 & NW UP 22 to 818

So only NE & Yorks down today. NW rising for first time in a while.

Week to week London (UP 39), Midlands (UP !0), NE & Yorkshire (DOWN 154), East (DOWN 8), South East (UP 83) , South West (DOWN 7) and North West (DOWN 20) over the last 7 days.

SO WEEK TO WEEK NE & YORKS EASILY FELL THE MOST

VENTILATORS DAY TO DAY

The numbers were:

793 / 779 - DOWN 14

Last week the numbers were:-

793 / 806 - UP 13

Two weekends ago the numbers were:-

785 / 780 - DOWN 5

So week to week today ventilators are DOWN 27

The previous week to week was UP by 26

REGIONALLY London has 192 (UP 3), Midlands 155 (DOWN 2), NE & Yorkshire 108 (DOWN 4) & North West 101 (DOWN 4)

East DOWN 1 to 70 - South West DOWN 2 to 58. South East DOWN 4 to 95.

NORTH WEST IS UP WEEK TO WEEK BY 3 FROM 98 TO 101.

Others:- EAST 81 TO 70, LONDON 185 TO 192, MIDLANDS 169 TO 155, NE & YORKS 137 TO 108, SOUTH EAST 88 TO 95, SOUTH WEST 48 TO 58
