Why is football being played in tier 4 were it is spreading almost out of control ?

When someone decided every match had to be shown live, did they consider how many cameramen, technicians and road crew would be wandering the country? Amazon have 5 matches tonight, including at Burnley one of the highest covid areas in the country and 2 matches tomorrow, one of which is in tier 4 London. No wonder we cannot stop the spread of the virus.

Yea but work isnt effect by any tier. I am in tier 4 cant visit family or friends etc all I can do is go to work and food shop. If my work was in a tier 1 I would still be expected to travel from my tier 4 for work.

It seems to me it doesnt matter how bad things get work must carry on regardless of a pandemic. Us minions must carry on being out and about unlike the people working from home

One of my nieces kids (11 years old) is getting transferred from the local hospital to Manchester Children's Hospital due to serious complications from a post Covid infection, nobody knew she'd had it in the first place. Anyone who thinks football is more important can go fuck themselves.

Maybe the point I am making is even in tier 4 if you cant work from you have to go into work. Same with football you cant work from you have to go in !
My work has been important keeping foodbanks supplied with food.

I dont think football should be being played in a pandemic but I also feel my wife who is diabetic and should be working from home. But her work means she has to go into work. Now if the government were to say only essential workers are to go to work than football stops and all sports stop and my wife stops , so far the government arent saying that, sadly.

We had a proper lockdown , furlough and no sport when the pandemic first started. Now the pandemic is worst than in lockdown but the government want us to carry on working risking our health now regardless. The government is treating this pandemic differently and its getting out of hand.

Cameramen, sound guys, truck drivers and uncle Tom cobbely. Tonight there are 5 lots of these guys who will stay in hotels and eat in cafes and provide nothing of value.... Bar money, overseas money especially. It just seems stupid.

I agree with you but those cameramen etc are just following government guidelines , that they cant work at home so have to go to work !

Until the government say only essential workers to go to work , like in the first full lockdown I feel football will carry on sadly.
