COVID Watch

they had 2000 fans at the game, maybe notifying them the game was possibly cancelled earlier in the day would of been reasonable. Not City's fault though, city asked for the cancellation in the morning after test results and assumed the PL would notify Everton of the events taking place. I'm no Everton lover but they should of been kept informed of what was happening from the moment cancellation looked a possibility.
That’s fair enough. I don’t think the statement was in any way a swipe at City but more a case of wanting to be kept in the loop more than they were. The trouble is, the statement empowered all and sundry to then go on the attack against our club.

For me it hits the nail firmly on the head, i certainly think if football is not postponed in the next few weeks, allowing crowds should be reversed. Don't see the logic and it does give teams that can have a crowd an advantage over those that can't
The thing with some teams having crowds there is doing my head in, playing behind closed doors used to be a punishment.

I find integrity is out of the window but everyone is pretending all is ok.

I want Liverpool into tier 3 - it stinks that they are allowed fans in.
Disgraceful.

Wonder if City were top by 10 points at this stage whether the PL would think any differently?
Of course they would. Especially if the rags and scousers also had players self isolating. They would justify a break on health and safety grounds (to give rags/scouse players time to recover). That's the built in advantage of self same clubs hand picking the PL chairman.
