I, for one would not like to see Bellamy left out the team... The whole team seemed deatbeat in the first half but ran the show in the second half and if anyone else rather than RSC were at the end of the balls passed we could have won easily 4-1...

IIRC RSC missed 1, SWP likewise, Bellers 2 or 3, and Tevez 1. But I suppose RSC is the new whipping boy. Look no further than our Miami boys for poor performances on the day, well, first half anyway. Happily, none of them finished the match - no idea why !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Gordon won't have a game like that if he plays til he's 156, just one of those days (Foy was wank too).

Didn't have a good first half but i thought he was one of our most dangerous players in the second half. Tested Gordan a few times and on another day may have scored, he was always looking to make runs in behind aswell and got past Hutton a few times with his pace

yeah i thought he dint have a great game, the turf was crap, the ref gave every single thing against him he could , and he wasnt at the races at time, but i still thought in the second half he destroyed hutton and was the main outlet for the team most the time

Just Ctrl + F'd "Bellamy" and couldn't find a thread so apologies if there is a thread.

How can someone be world class against the top teams but perform so averagely against the lower sides? Its not even for want of trying, he just can't seem to do it against them. I am genuinely clueless on this one, would appreciate some light being shed.

Once again you, like others , are falling into the trap of believing that a player like Craig Bellamy is a 'wholly' consistent player ......

you just don't buy them for the price we paid for him .......

despite his undoubted class , throughout his career he's only ever done it in 'fits and starts ' ...... just like Gareth Barry has done ..... we're just fortunate that Bellamy has stayed here this long!

No player in the world plays well every game.

It seems everytime one of our players doesn't play out of his skin, a thread has to appear.

I thought he was our most dangerous player over the whole 90 and has had a blinding season.
