Craig "Shez" Shennan (sadly passed today 01/06)

Since moving to the Etihad in 2003 we've had statues built celebrating some of our great players past and present, which is great, but to most of them it's just a job.
Although it will probably never happen it would be good to have a statue or two of some of our super fans who basically sacrifice their lives in following this wonderful club.
Think about the cost, time and sacrifice some of our fans like Shez have done to follow us everywhere.
Fans like Shez would definitely be in the running for such an accolade.
Our Blue Hearts are with you Shez, along with our Blue blood.
CTID.

I do think the memorial area at the Etihad should be updated possibly a bigger area

I'd seen Craig on several of Cheesy's blogs and was surprised to see him at Chesterfield earlier this season in the Bristol Motors eds tournament. That said to me he must've travelled everywhere watching City in any format. Super fan, you bet
Hes at Youth team home and away, ladies team home and away, 1st team home and away , oversees friendlies .... every one of them

The lad does multiple jobs to raise the cash

Superbia member , social secretary and assistant travel secretary at our branch ( Baguley & Brooklands ) .... and quizmaster and the world's greatest authority on bizarre Scottish football facts

And my mate

A lot of people on here will know Shez, whether that be from Baguley & Brooklands OSC, a Euro away, the Chicken Hut or Wythenshawe in general.

This is now out in the public domain, so I'm not going to beat around the bush. Shez is not going to make it to the start of next season. The Big C has called time and he hasn't got long. This bastard of a disease is going to take another Blue too early.

There's a gofundme page been set up to look after his family and I urge everyone to make a donation, however small. I haven't a scooby how to post a link, so just search for his name and you'll find it. Over £4k has been raised in a few hours, which is simply staggering.

1894 lads...what can I say, what you have just done has brought me to tears, God bless you fella's.

Up the fucking Blues.

Edit: Link added by @Ric
Absolutely gutted about Shez, what a absolute legend of a blue, Thoughts with the family at this extremely difficult time
