I still have trouble understanding why bowlers at the death bowl long hops and full tosses at waist height instead of yorkers at batsmen toes. Very difficult to hit those for six. Well done Lancashire let's bring back the glory days of one day cricket

Tremendous win that. Made it look very easy and at no point did we look in any real trouble. Hit far fewer sixes than Yorkshire yet won with 8 balls to spare. We managed to put the squeeze on them during a few of the middle overs but the best they could do was put the squeeze on for no more than a few balls.

When I was younger I used to field at deep long on to our captain who was a slow left arm bowler who tossed it right up and used to shout that as the ball was coming towards me in the air. Cocky ****, luckily I can't remember dropping any. But surprised no one smacked me around the head with a gray nicholls
