Playing 20/20 is just like a toss of a coin ? No skill just luck

What makes you think that? Just because it's shorter than Test cricket or One Day matches somehow means it's just down to luck?

How about any other sports shorter than a typical T20 match i.e most sports. Are they just luck with no skill?

Well first thing is the toss and winning it and batting 2nd wins more than batting 1st
then you're smashing it around the ground in miss or hit cricket
then the DLS system makes no sense for the team batting first

The toss is far less of an advantage than 4 day or test cricket which is more or less ruined by the toss.

Lancashire historically have been the most successful t20 team in England and Wales on % of matches won and choose to bat first in almost all games, with the later ones this season and weather affected ones being the anomalies.

DLS applies to all limited overs, and the DL was far better than any previous system, and has seen a lot of tweaks to keep up with scoring rates and other changes.

Only a few teams can afford to play test cricket, and women's teams don't even play it or any long form cricket bar a novelty one off game every few years.

Some finish in the Bangladesh Zimbabwe game, all the players had gone off with a stumping off the last ball but it was called a no ball on review because the keeper took the ball in front of the stumps which left Zimbabwe needing 4 off the last ball with a free hit. He missed it and Bangladesh won it for a 2nd time, just imagine if he'd hit the boundary!

Really doesn’t feel like World Cup when biggest game of tournament gets washed out by rain.(Eng vs Aus)

Weird seeing total washouts in Aus. Never rains in Aus, does it?

Joking, obviously. I'm aware that there are some areas of the country that do get their share of rain. It's just not something that sticks in your mind, complete days lost to the weather.

The mad thing is that the MCG has a roof they could have closed and got the game played.

Looks like it will probably be South Africa, India, New Zealand and a toss up between England and Australia in the semi-finals.

I fear losing to Ireland could cost us dearly as Australia still have the two weakest (at least on paper) teams to play.

Weather could still play a part but I think England will get through. And we avoid India in the semi finals if we do now. SA have built a very good side. Anyone's call who wins between them and England and NZ v India.
