As uncomfortable as the last hour or so was yesterday, it only took Bairstow and Lawrence about 35 minutes to get the win this morning so it felt a lot more comfortable.

Overall the only thing I can see we've learnt from this game is Lawrence looks like he's got a chance of getting in and around the team, thought he looked very good.

The worries that you'd have before the test match are still there - openers and Bess look really inexperienced/out of their depth, Wood bowls well without looking like he's going to get a wicket. Solid performance from Broad and despite that daft run out Bairstow and Root were really good over the match. Think we'll win this series but seeing how a depleted India are doing against Australia, it makes me worry that we'll take a proper pasting out there.

Crawley is an absolute shoe in despite having a poor test. I don't think there's much doubt Leach is our best spinner either unfortunately.
