Lancs doing everything they can so far but Warwickshire look set for a decent total. However, they now need to score at over 5 runs an over if they are to pick up maximum batting points. Really could do with them only getting 3 batting points tops so we need them to get bowled out for less than 350 or not get to 350 inside the first 110 overs.

The ECB statement makes no mention of the word ‘security’, and on what has been released the tours are not being cancelled for that reason. Huge sympathy for the PCB.

Agree, every sympathy with the PCB. Weird that on the one hand the NZ tour was called off due to intelligence received of a security threat targeting the NZ team, in which case the ECB's decision to follow suit would be understandable, but as you say no mention in the statement.

The UK and New Zealand are both part of the Five Eyes intelligence sharing group, so the UK government would be completely aware of any security threat NZ pick up.

I suspect the ECB didn't mention the security threat as a favour for Pakistan. They have been unable to host cricket in the country for a decade, and England following NZ in withdrawing due to the probablility of an attack would be devastating to cricket in Pakistan.
