JoeMercer's Way....... they ain't wasting may licence fee. I despise the fact that because I have a telly I have to pay a tax on it. Pisses me right off.

I reckon paying a few blokes to commentate on cricket for 8 hours a day over the radio for a full a Ashes series could well cost a lot less than Alan fucking Hansen's salary who tells the country what's 'shocking defending' is. Not forgetting Lineker, Lawrenson etc...

Was there thursday and friday, enjoy the fan villages and check out who is on the question and answering session at lunch behind block d, Merv Hughes was there and Jeff Thomson and Adam Hollioake on Friday, listening to Thommo was good value.
On Thursday the Pimms was £30 for a jug including a £5.00 deposit, by friday it was £25 with a £10 deposit on top.....must have been a lot of people too drunk to reclaim their fivers, me, I just stuck to the cider (though did have a sample to yorkshire tea first thing)
