Sounds like Graham Thorpe is seriously ill in hospital with an unclear prognosis.
Hope he pulls through for his friends and family.
He was one of our best batsmen in the wilderness years in the 90s. Heaven knows how bad we would have been without him. He always seemed a decent bloke too.

Glad it's a young head coach, but sad it's not an English one ? Also will he have a free role to pick and choose the players he wants or will the ECB still hold up the central contracts card and say here are the players you have to work with
