I pay 144 quid for county cricket and 50 overs games at the Oval. Maximum 34 days of cricket, 15 quid at the gate. Its worth it just to wander around the lovely pavilion, not forgetting the smart new stand.

Love the views over the City of London from the top deck of the pavilion.

Good for some plane spotting too. Used to do a decent roast for lunch, that and a couple of bottles of red is a very chill way to spend an afternoon.

Retirement around London if you can afford sure must have its perks.

Symonds was the best English ODI player not to play for England. Having Law, Loye, and Symonds at the top of the order for limited overs games for a short spell was the last great Lanky limited overs side.
