Someone dropped a major bollock there. Apparently, the "spidercam" operator has been "stood down" for the remainder of the test. The rules in place stipulate that the camera can't come any lower than 3.5 metres from the ground during play. And can only go lower when players are being interviewed, and the camera is stationary.

ive always said at the etihad they look dodgy as fuck and are an accident waiting to happen

The camera weighs about 8kg, apparently. If that hits you from behind, when you're not expecting it, it's going to knock you to the ground. And if it hits you on the head, it could be a very serious injury (Nortje was hit on the shoulder, according to reports, and was okay to resume).
