First time ever by any visiting team in Pakistan. That needs savouring!

On the face of it, and man for man, I think the Aussies are the better team, probably. But the confidence in this England team is something to behold. So many times, a good England team, with unquestioned talent in it, has just wilted in the face of Aussie arrogance (ok, call it self-belief if you want). That will not happen under Stokes. Incidentally, I think it would be madness not to bring Bairstow back in, even if it involves sacrificing someone.
Should be one of the most interesting Ashes for years…

For me, my favourite part of Christmas day is about to start, the day is over, you're likely alone and maybe a little buzzed and the first ball at the G is about to be bowled.

Get yourself a cold plate, a long drink and dip in and out of the first session of the boxing day test

Same here. All happening in that Boxing Day test.

Good old Saffers go 56/1 to 67/5, put on a 112 run partnership, then collapse to 182 all out.

Ashes going to be fun.

A highpoint in English cricket history. Astounding.

Good read on Cricinfo.

Mark Nicholas calls that Rawalpindi test last month England's greatest ever win and I'd agree.
