Definitely up there with the 'couldn't quite get his leg over' line. These kind comments are always made by the people off mic dissolving in laughter

exactly - the lengthy silence from Athers tells you when it dawned on him and how much he was trying not to corpse himself

I've just put it back on and England seem to have had their feet glued to the floor. Went back and found Buttler's which was just awful.

Has it been fairly turgid all day? Until about 2.30, it seemed fairly nondescript stuff. And Sibley may have one of the ugliest styles this side of Steve Smith.

Today was the first day amateur cricket was allowed. Someone gave Atherton a 'social media' report of startling figures, and he duly read it out on air. Giggling ensued.

Good old Hugh Jardon, 6 for 9 at Cockermouth CC. Well done Athers. I was holding it in, almost in tears

Jofra to get 10-35 and after the 5fer wicket reveal an undershirt reading ‘Why Always Me?’

Fantastic spell of bowling especially from Archer this morning. Bess unlucky as well right before lunch. Cmon England let’s hope we can strike quickly after lunch. Great test match

Two or three quick wickets badly needed. If the Windies need 50 or 60 runs with 3 or 4 wickets left, then you never know. As of now, though, I wouldn't lump on England.
