There is nothing at all wrong with the batting lineup, if there was then I could see the argument for KP being included, but the reality is that we have a bowling attack that cannot defend any score, regardless how high. I thought we'd stand a better chance bowling first as that way we at least give our batsmen a chance to know what ridiculously high score they have to chase, but the bowling is so bad that I'm not sure we're even going to have a chance.

There is no room in the team for one of the top three 20/20 batsmen in the world? Who has more experience than the rest of the team combined in these conditions and against the players from all the other teams? He should be the no.1 player in the team and I couldn't give a shit which one of our top 6 misses out for him.

Again completely missing the point. What would that help? Our bowling would still be utter wank and lose us the game, even if he did maybe get us 10 or 20 runs more than whoever he replaced (which there is very little guarantee that he would). It seems to me that the KP lovers want to blame that for us losing, rather than addressing the actual problem, which is that we aren't producing one day bowlers. I think you're missing the point. What this team is missing is experience. Experience in the conditions, the format and against the opposition. Guess what KP has in abundance? He has it more than anyone else in the England setup including the coaches and all the suits. England's arrogance is what's got us here.
South Africa are currently 131-2 off 11.2 overs yet not two day ago our star player told the world that 180 was above par. That is criminal and someone like KP might have just been able to tell the whole of the England setup that setting targets like that against the likes of Gayle you're gonna lose 9 times out of 10.
Morgan has an arseload of 20/20 experience as well, including plenty in India. You and Piers and the rest of the broken records just want to find any way possible to make it about KP, rather than looking at the actual problems. What are you babbling on about? I'm a fan offering an opinion, I hope to fuck the people in charge are not paying me much attention and actually working their nuts off to find a proper solution. The fact is KP SHOULD be playing this game right now. He has more to offer the national team in this competition in these conditions than any other player, coach or suit in England yet he's sat in a studio embarrassing all of these wankers.
