Our bowling would still be utter wank and lose us the game, even if he did maybe get us 10 or 20 runs more than whoever he replaced (which there is very little guarantee that he would). It seems to me that the KP lovers want to blame that for us losing, rather than addressing the actual problem, which is that we aren't producing one day bowlers. We can play whatever "brand" of cricket we want and get as many big hitters in there as we can, but it's worth nothing if we've got a bowling attack that's made up of medium pacers who can't even bowl the line they've set the field for.
