That’s likely true yeah, it is tough for the umpires to keep an eye on and then pick up a 85 mile an hour delivery immediately after.Isn't there a perception these days that close no balls (like Woakes') aren't called, unless there's a wicket from it? Though, to contradict myself, I seem to recall Gabriel being called a couple of times on friday. But his weren't even close. He was nearly six inches over the front line. And, apparently, he does seem to have an issue with overstepping. So maybe umpires will be watching him closer than they would Woakes, who hardly ever bowls no-balls.
He’s overtaken Anderson who is obviously getting on now.Have to say but Broad is our beast bowler oh and there he is taking another one.
Look at that. Bouncing them out wasn’t a great idea. As soon as we went to line and length and attacking the stumps then the wickets fell today.the weather is out of anybody hands its manchester
but the captain of england root is simply a fool and does not have a clue at being captain ? again am pulling my hair at the lack ideas and field he sets, you have to get on the bowlers back at the way they are bowling at the tail ? but not having catches in a round the bat when you see Dowrich not having a clue and turning his head away at the ball at knee height how has he got to 10 runs ? i can tall you why root
the west indies are there for the taking and we are still giving daft runs away and setting fields that a school boy captain would not make, you should have 2 or 3 around the bat and lets have some chin music they don't like it up them
i would have had the west indies out below 100 they don't have anybody who is good enough to bat and stay in when using (chin music) the Aussies would have them all out below 100 and bounced them out / you can see they don't like thing in or around chest height
anybody defending root as captain is a fool
Strange call, holding Broad back in the first hour, preferring Woakes. He’s overtaken Anderson who is obviously getting on now.
Broad is absolutely top class and other than Stokes, would be my first name on the team sheet.

i suspect had they started with broad they would be following onStrange call, holding Broad back in the first hour, preferring Woakes.
Can you imagine how many no balls Jesus would bowl....Why do bowlers insist on pushing that front foot right to the absolute maximum? Six inches back isn't going to make a hell of a lot of difference.

Imagine a strike pairing of him and "smiler" Benjani. The umpires' arms would be locked in that horizontal position come close of play. Can you imagine how many no balls Jesus would bowl....
Not poor bowling no fella. Woakes and Archer were on the right line but too short whilst trying to bounce them out.i missed the morning session but sounds like poor bowling than wrong idea ? this test should be ok for time so the follow on does really matter, england bat well in the 2nd innings and will have 2 days to win the test ?
My heart aches for you, it really does. Though it's not too bad in Ireland today, for a change. Broken, high cloud. The car dash is saying 18°. Pleasant, not stifling hot and not too muggy or humid.Wish I could swap a bit of my weather for yours. Temperature: 29° and not a cloud for miles. I'd honestly be glad of a little rain.
Let’s hope the weather will be as shit as it’s been the last few days.
