By the way, anybody know if it's raining in Southampton right now?

They could have played until 7.30pm, yesterday. I am not sure about today.

very very poor from the players and bess and archer bowling is way off, drop catches again ? poor field settings ? easy runs ? but like i said england give pakistan 100 to 150 to many runs yesterday and also that takes time out of the game
but the weather is going to take control and the draw is nailed on

that morning and after lunch sessions was shocking yesterday by root, he just let the game slip out of his hands and put it in the gods of the weather, 2 to 3 hours does not sound like much, but its 40 overs that pakistan would have to come out again and under the cosh and defending for their life and england would have nipped out 3 or 4 and would have been easy today or tomorrow

They could have started earlier yesterday and today, decided not to, and so will now run out of time as a result, test cricket needs a rethink over time used, there's likely to be little or no play tomorrow, so it's headed for a draw.

England missed the trick by batting for too long in the first innings. 450 to 470ish should have been enough. They only bowled 10.4 overs on day 2 against pakistan. Knowing that forecast was bad for day 4 and 5, batting out nearly 2 days on a flat deck was a poor and defensive move.
