If eng are lucky with the toss, they could win at least 2 matches if not more. Would be fun if they win the toss in next match and post 450 to 500

It really would. Coming off the back of a tough tour in Aus and they just spent nearly double the amount of time in the field as England in this test. With the next test in a few days, if England win the toss and bat 4/5 sessions the Indians are gonna be feeling that. Then the 3rd test is a day nighter under the lights. I thought this series would be 4-0 but England have every chance if things fall for them.

I never thought it would be 4-0 tbh because eng have 2 decent spinners in their lineup, that's a must in India if you are to achieve anything. They may not be at swann or panesar level but certainly good enough to get the job done.

big win for england and root. you don't go over there to many times and win a test. england must forget this win pretty quick and go and try a win the next one because you don't want to throw all the good work done in this one

am big enough to take the crap because of my dislike to root the captain. but today maybe the win over is proving me wrong. you can't be right all the time ? root in the early role as captain struggled and we got a good kicking down under. i know its a team sport and others also was crap. but your captain and choice have to be made in the field and roots fields at times was puzzling and wrong and it cost england

so well play root you shove it right back down my neck and earned the win

What Stokes and to an extent Leach achieved, was absolutely monumental. I agree with Ric though, as a complete performance, with most of the team contributing, I can't remember many better performances.

I said during the Sri Lankan tour that England would do more than compete in India, we just needed the spinners to contribute. The quality and variety of Englands pace attack is frightening.
