Sri Lanka were too casual after Asalanka went. With no pressure to win the game they just decided to knock it around and try to keep wickets in hand for a slog at the end. It’s a risky approach against a quality bowling attack.

And good bowling from England
Sri Lanka forgot that to exceed a par score after a good start you have to keep the foot on the accelerator. Another ten runs in that middle section and England would have been a lot more nervous. Could easily have been looking at 160+ and it’s a different game.

But we bowled really well so we aren’t
Yes we did, but a better approach from Sri Lanka in overs 9-14 would have made a difference. I’m just saying they were too casual at that point because they had no pressure on them to win the game. I’m not going to discuss the nuances of the game if you think it’s just about one side doing one thing.
