You don't want to be batting last on this though, it'll turn square and have uneven bounce. If you last long enough it'll reverse swing too.

I am going to be an Aussie for this series, just for the fun of it and the "we will fuck them over" attitude of English fans, never under estimate the Aussie's vs England.
Even though they may not be at their best, when it comes to the Ashe's, it is like City vs the rags,(when the rags were way ahead of us) anything can happen.

Had £250 in my ladbrokes account and was about to stick it on Trott highest scorer for the first series. Bottled it at the last second and withdrew £200 and put £50 on Cooke. Kicking myself now.

Its not always negative, in 2009 we got into the ground, i thought old head of experience, i will get my round in first so i can settle in my seat and not miss much by having to get it later when play is on and the queues are bigger. I gave my bag to one of the crew and as the pints were being poured there was a huge cheer, bollocks missed a wicket i thought, followed by another roar as i paid for them. Got to my seat and the Aussies were 2 down. I was then forced to go for a 'lucky piss' throughout the day and was successful three times!! So 10 Aussie wickets i only saw 5 wickets. I will hopefully be bringing this form to this Ashes series by regular toilet visits during their innings, whether a piss in needed or not.

I must admit that i am mostly an underdog supporter, being a City fan how could you not.
I have suffered many, many years of England being taught how to play cricket by the Aussies, family and friends never failed to mention it and i stood proud (even though i don't really give a fuck about cricket) in England's defense.
Now though, i see the arrogant attitude the Aussie's had being replicated in the English attitude, raggish if you will. Do not like it.
Always respect your opponent, a lesson our players could learn from.
