I wonder how often a bowler has got five wickets in a row, especially when there’s already four down before they get their first.
If history has anything to say the Aussie team will.Anyone know what the odds were on England having a first innings lead at the conclusion of theirs???
Of course we are but we all know things can flip back round quickly. I remember being in a pub in Prague in 2005 on the opening day of the first test and Australia being 5 down for 80-odd. They ended up 190 all out but I was thinking that was a great start for us....until we got skittled in our innings and went on to lose the test heavily! Turned out ok by the end of the series though ;)Are we allowed to get giddy on the first day of an Ashes series…
To think they were saying it was a 400 pitch when we were losing all those wickets earlier. Assuming they don't put shit loads on for the last wicket, we can't even muster close to that with both totals added together!Well they say wait till both teams have batted at moment looks like our score looks par!

Suppose we could always score 400 in the second innings though ;)

crawley lolSee the new ball off and make them chase over 300, what a marker for the rest of the series
