There are players who never played in Australia or a day night game they’ve just realised how hard it is and how the media over there will go after everyone one of them!

Smith is my main worry his head seems to have gone more than the rest! Maybe play pope as the wicket keeper stick him down the at 6/7 and play an extra bowler we need it!

The first test of a few of them actually realised that they might of won that test!

5-0 incoming
5-0 was always on the cards

This is purely on the bazball philosophy. In my opinion this set of England players are some of the best to tour Australia in many tours. Certainly the high quality pace bowling attack we have should be tearing the Aussies a new one. But the philosophy of bazball batting, not taking the game situation into account. Just go out there swipe away, don’t worry about playing and missing, just have another go exactly the same, is being found out massively in Australia. It may work at home against some countries but not here.

ollie Dope
that's where the collapse started giving it the flashing blade in quick succession and eventually giving his wicket away
don't blame duckett he got unlucky with the ball keeping low, not much he could of done about that
but brainless pope given the state of the game was unforgivable, we needed to drop anchor but no.
that got their tails up
5-0 is looking quite likely

Who do we think will be the new captain in the post Bazball era?

Presumably the whole management and coaches will be changing soon as well.

They are ? But what does that say about the England team ? I just don't get the lack of fight and willingness
I really don't understand the comments about lack of fight. In order to have 'fight' you need application, doggedness, guts and character. However, none of these characteristics are required when playing cricket with the sole purpose to entertain. It's a case of don't worry you scored x off y balls. Do the same next innings.

'Young' Harry Brook. They've already given him ODI captaincy with no experience, so why not give him something else to think about when he's fielding.

He's not that young either. 27 early next year, and 30+ tests into his career.
