Bazball has made him question his methods of batting and has made him worse, imho.Dont watch loads of cricket but what the hell has happened to Root ?
Used to be a bloody good player
He’s best when he bats naturally and scores about a run a ball anyway, but he feels he has to reverse scoop etc to fit in with the new mentality.
Teams have stopped him scoring a single down to third man too.

Listened to Agnew and co waxing lyrical yesterday about how England were in a really strong position in the Test. As Boycott always said, you never know until the second side has batted. Good Test.
