They're really not that bad. They tend to get good results with the team around them in the rankings (beating Canada and Netherlands in the last few world cups) and then on their day they can run the top teams close.

India almost had a scare in their first game of this tournament and Pakistan actually lost to them (via a super over) in the last World Cup.

Anything is possible in T20 cricket. All it takes is one player to be in the zone and it can win any game.

If you’d been asked 20 years ago whether the US would be playing cricket in the future at all, I guess you’d probably have said not.

Take it you didn't watch England ODI's in the mid-late 90's when they were absolutely shite.

Before this tournament they had won 11 out of the last 12 T20's but they have been mediocre at best this tournament

Yeah, it's not surprising that West Indians, Indians, Bangladeshis, Afghanis, Zimbabweans 'n Coco Islanders end up in these 'fringe' teams.

Batting sensibly and keeping the ball on the ground seems to be the right way to go for me. Hitting the ball in the air means a lot more chance of getting out

Thing with 20/20 is anything can happen any team with one player being incredible could win them the game!
