Yes going down and no excuses, we have been dire all season.

Yep can't complain. There are virtually no components of a decent side in place.
Opening pair, seam attack, wicket taking spinner,solid middle otder. Need a complete rebuild. Overseas recruits also odd.
i like Hurst, Bohannon good if he gets a start, Jennings if he wants to stick around are all OK.

Really poor season for Lancashire (yet again), The batting is woeful and the bowling only slightly better, how often do we get early wickets only for tail enders to knock us all over the shop?
How often in the last twenty years have we had a really good overseas player?
Good that some younger players have come in and performed quite well but doing them no favours with such pitiful backup from the seniors.
The sooner this season is over the better.

The problem in this country is that county cricket is not competitive cricket. Dibbly dobbly bowlers and step step twang batsman. Everything is based around the test team and one day rubbish.
