I'm hoping no more than 220/230 to chase here, anymore I think we lose
Looking like it's going to be 250-300 the way things are going! All I'd say is that we know what to expect this time. Batting was tricky but Duckett was comfortable and no one was getting too bogged down. Then it just transformed and we were skittled. We'll be going in knowing what to expect so hopefully can build a better innings.
Wouldn't be the worst thing to have something riding on the 3rd test mind!

It's definitely looking like more than 270 to 300, and yes we do know what will happen, like you say somert to play for in the last test.

Serious question. Is there any team in the front rank of test-playing nations that has such a poor record on dropped catches? And I mean by that, not just recently, but over the decades. It's true that you don't notice the other teams that drop them. But in an entirely impressionistic way, my feeling is that England's record is lamentable.

To be fair, with Stokes around, I wouldn't bet against England getting those. Yes, even in the fourth innings.
