It's the little bit of bounce you get from pitching it up just a yard more than a good length
Maybe it's more about the ball (kookaburra) they use over there, But the good news is that if you stick around after the 20-over mark you will score because it goes soft quick

With questionable techniques in testing conditions, I think we’re seeing one of the downsides of T20 cricket. Kohli’s form has dropped off a cliff.

I agree about Kohli - I think he's had a terrible year, hasn't he? He must be close to retirement though.

Amused that after receiving a short ball from Rana, Starc advised him that he bowled faster than Rana and had a long memory. Not quite Devon Malcolm's "you guys are history".
