That's a hiding the Indians dished out. The Aussie top order have been struggling this past 12 months....

India seem to have their number. They've won 5 and drawn two of their last nine tests in Australia. And several of their star players are struggling to amass serious runs. Khawaja and Smith have gone 11 tests without a century, Marsh has gone 10 and Labuschagne 9.

That's not pretty. I imagine the Aussie media are being fairly direct about it!

Smith particularly seems to be a bit like Kohli, a slide in form leading to retirement - then Kohli makes a hundred.

I hadn't realised that Khawaja was on a run like that too, Labuschagne seems to wax and wane in form (without checking stats). I think losing Warner's presence may still be affecting them, as a personality and a fairly reliable opener.

When I was a kid, I hated Viv Richards as he was always putting England to the sword. In later life, I now appreciate was a fantastic cricketer and sportsman he was. A true icon of his age

Steve Smith is a cheating **** and my opinion of him will never change

All the bowlers knew, they all cheated imo. Pakistan Cricketers banned for life for spot betting, these cheats got a 1 year ban.

Am I right in thinking they'll have used the Kookabura ball in all those tests?
If you can get past 30/35 overs it becomes easier to bat against than the Dukes. But up against skillful attacks you can be reeling.

India have one of the best bowling line ups probably of all time. Bumrah is incredible.

They’ve got a vast plethora of pace bowlers though. Bizarrely, all they lack is a workld class spinner.
Bumrah is the best fast bowler in the world by a mile. I love watching him bowl, he's got this strange run up but when he lets the ball go it's like clockwork.

Should be the Kookaburra, yes.
There aren't many better than Bumrah who is a joy to watch - the inswinger that got Labuschagne in the second innings was quite something.

The balls used in England for the last 2 years have been terrible, doing nothing after about 20 overs sometimes.
