Same old Aussies, always cheating...
Nope I thought it was not out from the moment he slid and the ball ran across the floor like I new the Smith catch was out when some were saying it shouldn’t of been!
Umpire explained it very well this morning!
Fairly. Based on the previous Test, the only result we have so far, it's a fairly even contest; even this one has the potential to go late into Day 5 (or perhaps not). This Test has been highly peculiar in that Australia's tactics changed completely when they lost Lyon, and England's batsmen then behaved like lemmings in the first innings. I think Australia are the better side (in all departments) but that England's selection/loyalty has unnecessarily conceded the advantage. You think they're evenly matched?
Agreed. They've scored 36+ in 9 overs so probably need to slow down now and not flash at anything high. I think there have been three 'shouts' this morning, one reviewed, so it's 'just' a case of letting balls go through and nicking quick singles when the opportunities arise.First thing to do is to get to lunch with no more wickets down (yes, I know; humour me), and maybe another 50-60 runs on the board. Then look at the situation again. That'd leave around 150 runs to get in two sessions. That would be 2.5 rpo (approx), eminently achievable. But the four wickets down is the killer.
Fuck the convicts ……Same old Aussies, always cheating...
We don't need to see the ball crashing into the advertising boards every second or third ball. Or some bloke in the crowd with the hand/eye coordination of Stevie Wonder trying to catch the ball. Ones and twos would be perfectly sufficient.Agreed. They've scored 36+ in 9 overs so probably need to slow down now and not flash at anything high.
