I'm still hopeful we'll get on, there's a biggish hole in the cloud west of Liverpool (if they don't nick it obviously), so fingers crossed.

Times added on once there is a disruptionI see they can play until 7.30 tonight, yet they couldn’t do that the other day when it was perfectly fine at 6.30 with this expected weather.

The ICB need to make some rules about people coming onto the pitch.
Make it so you can only change equipment every 3rd over, limit the number of major fielding changes.
How is it we have a literal timer for the next batsman coming in, but water boys and 12th men can walk on to the pitch to swap Labuschagnes gloves and take as long as they like.
Why are we waiting for a helmet to come on? Just keep it behind the stumps from the beginning.
If someone has a concussion test, make it the drinks break and skip the next scheduled one.

At about £100 for a days ticket it’s about time the ECB looked at maximising playing days…….and look at reserve day if a full days cricket is lost

Looking at OT cricket ground. Multi million rebuild, but it’s largely hotels and conference facilities. The one large stand is a temporary pile of scaffolding. I thought they were putting a new stand of the last couple of years… but a see that’s a hotel too.
