I may be in the minority but Bairstow had only himself to blame as it was not the first time he had done it and if you try and intimidate the Aussies like we have with all this talk of Bazball bollocks you reap what you sow
Watching it with my Mother who hates cricket, and she said, ‘that’s his own fault the bloody idiot’.

Oh well, a great effort by England but a disappointing result for the series. Attention will inevitably turn on those two controversial decisions, but I hope we don't have to suffer so much short stuff for the remainder of the summer. A pitch with some lateral movement and turn would be nice.

That's how the Ashes should be on home soil mate. Cummins, Starc and Hazlewood should be chin tested at each and every opportunity. There's been too much respect given to some pretty despicable characters in that convict team.

I'm no Pep but that looked like it came down to game management again like the first test. Fine margins.

One thing I will say, and without an invitation to do so, is fucking cheating Australian cunts. Always have been, always will be. Truly the Germans of cricket. Insufferable set of cunts.
And the number of appeals for lbw when it was clear the ball hit the bat before pad. The Aussies might win but they set a poor example of sportsmanship. They probably don’t care, mind.

You're not alone at all, did the same thing the previous two balls, Carey took a punt (threw it while he was still in his ground), hopefully he'll learn to look behind him in future.

That's what winners are. It's what Argentina, Italy, Germany have built a foundation on to win trophies across different generations. All groups of serial winners are experts in game management and cheating. The English have always lacked ruthlessness in this area, and it costs you. Cheats prosper in sport and life.
