Bairstow world class batsman, minor counties wicket keeper. Need Foakes in for next test, drop one of the openers, these missed chances are fucking huge and costing a lot more runs than we’d lose from Crawley or Duckett

To be fair, the selectors, captain are McCullum (of which at this point you can't help but be impressed with their outputs up to this test thus far - they've been exceptional) are getting a return on what they selected here.

An excellent innings from Bairstow with the bat, shortcomings with the gloves (especially when you have such a gifted specialist in Foakes in the ranks).

I'd be surprised if they didn't tweak it at the earliest opportunity...........

Ben Foakes needs to be back in this team yesterday. These Bairstow mistakes are killing us. I know Crawley had a good knock first innings but he has to be sacrificed for a proper keeper. These should have been bowled out for under 300.

Ali isn't the answer either, surely there is a better spinner somewhere in England.

Robinson Broad and Jimmy are too samey aswell, need to sacrifice one for either a left arm option or someone with genuine pace.
 
We have given Australia this test. Drops, no balls and some crazy shot selections. So frustrating
