I think the point being made is about simple dropped catches. The bowlers have been excellent but the wicket keeping and slip catching not - Marsh and Head have scored 49 between them (excluding extras) since each was dropped. They could have been less than 100 for 6, rather than 147 for 4. Those dropped catches have hugely impacted on the momentum of the match; anyone thinking otherwise is probably up there with Wenger as a specialist in failure

You can not Keep letting them off the hook, Dropped catches kill you against the Aussies.

I am not in the camp of England is still in the ashes and winning the test can turn everything around, Well dropped catches and poor wicketkeeping only spells on the thing England are still very much a poor team,

If England were 139/4 you'd be shitting yourself. But apparently when it's Australia they're doing well.
Is that the same Australian who were 85 for 4, and both not out batsmen have been dropped off simple catches very early in their innings?

Nope that’s not completely true, the bowlers have done well today. It’s the catching that’s been shit

Brought Mo on half an hour too late ere, we’ve been slow to react which has been a constant problem over 2 & a bit tests, he’s already created chances

Great opening session and this one would have been much better if they didn't drop dollies
