Cricket Thread

At the risk of talking up a wicket, it’s all gotten a bit clueless at the moment.
 
I’ve only seen a few of the highlights but looks like we’re playing in conditions that would suit Australia.
 
Foakes and Buttler both have better test batting averages than Crawley, both are better wicket keepers than Bairstow. Hopefully Crawley justifies the continued faith shown in him by the selectors, if not then surely one of those two need to come in so we have a specialist wicket keeper. Buttler could open, as could Stokes who is actually a very sensible batsman when he puts his mind to it. The other tweak I’d make is catching practice rather than golf on the days off. Given how Marsh is batting since his reprieve I’d do what they do to us, put all the fielders on the boundary and let the **** have signals, or have to play higher risk shots for his boundaries
 
Pretty much sums up the series so far, had massive opportunities to take control in both tests and conspired to hand it back to the Aussies.
