England are an incredible team as well. Batting, bowling and fielding was pretty much perfect.
Yes they are but the Kiwis just wanted off the pitch. Even in defeat players can try to stake their claim for a place or try and build a partnership to reduce the end margin. They got absolutely nothing out of that game, dreadful for team morale.

Why when stumping are referred by the third umpire do they also check for a caught behind?

It’s giving the bowling team an extra review.

They should only check for the stumping.

Luke Proctor gets a 12 ball duck captaining Northants against his old county as the senior batsman. Time flies.

85-3 lancs back in it.

Tough chase, but the pitch looks dead.

Anybody find the BBC commentary team a bit cringy. Far too conversational, and not enough of what's going on. A 2 minute gab on what two of the women comms were wearing, took the piss

Why does any team pick Livingstone? When was the last time he actually did anything bar trying to hit the ball as far as he can and getting out for under 15?

Or is he a bowler these days, that isn’t very economical, even for T20s?
Completely agree, he’s absolutely not an international batsman, his good scores are rarer than united title wins. Was a shit t20 captain for Lancs too. His occasional bowling doesn’t make him a better member of the team than Harry Brook

England 3 overs off the pace after only 6 overs. NZ doing well.
I watched some of the cricket today and NZ were doing well in the field after batting well in their innings. What struck me was how unappreciative the crowd were when the NZ team took a wicket or made a good interception in the field. Today they were light years away from the first two matches and upped their game but the crowd were so silent when they took an England wicket, which on the whole was by good bowling or by good fielding because their field placing was superb. I said to my family “where’s the acknowledgment from the crowd that there was some good bowling?” because there was none, or at least there was none coming through on the telly. Surely English crowds are better than that?

Different crowd in T20 and The Hundred. Test matches completely different.
